Descripción Contemporary Art Museum - Buenos Aires by TABB Architecture:
What if we could merge all
museums into one?
Exhibitions around the
world within our hands. Imagine not only the artwork but the artist themselves
personally sharing their artwork and theories with us! Picture bright spaces
designed to unite people, emotions and opinions through art.
Puerto Madero, one of the
most important areas in Buenos Aires, is the perfect place where visitors can
take a walk, admire local architecture and get to know this beautiful city.
Visitors enjoy taking a
walk by the wharf and having picnics with their families at parks and open
spaces. This makes Puerto Madero a perfect spot to locate this innovative,
technological and Eco-Friendly museum. Our reason for conceiving a museum in
this area was mainly to offer a place where people could relax, admiring great
artwork in a dynamic and interesting space.
How?
Technology + Humanities
HD Holograms, 3Dimensional
projections and Full synchronization systems, just to name but a few, producing
a unique art sensing experience. We talk about mixing “exceptional” with “connectivity”.
Converting museums into the ultimate interaction encounter.
Who said we needed
thousands of dollars for an exhibition? Art transportation, gasoline, time…?
Not a problem anymore! Let us remotely share our work 100% pollution free.
We decided to lift up the entire museum so we could take maximum advantage out
of green areas. The access lobby connects with a great esplanade where
monumental art sculptures can be shown. Visitors have the option to enter the
museum galleries immediately or to admire the view from the main observation
deck while they grab something to eat.
We believe in fluid spaces.
Visitors can easily get from one point to another, while the combination of
open and closed spaces, landscape and art makes the tour a very interesting
ride. People can decide whether to follow the art spaces or explore the sculpture
gardens, galleries and different show rooms. There´s no established route. This
makes a unique flow experience, jumping from one sensation to another.
